How God's Hand at work was started...
"The idea to build an orphanage in India was actually formed by accident..." Jamie Clark says. "...when my husband Nathan and I were watching a TV documentary on YouTube about the crisis of orphans around the world. We found that India has over 31 Million orphans. Many are as young as 5 or 6 years old, many have siblings they live on the streets with. Millions of these children sleep on the sidewalks at night, so many that it can be difficult to walk down the sidewalk without stepping on them. We knew we had to do something."
Covid-19 has sadly made the problem worse. Many of these young children are being exploited and trafficked around the world.
"After hearing of these stories our hearts sank. We knew we had to help these children and couldn't think of anything better but building an orphanage as a place for the children to live but didn't know how. After hearing about Angel House from my friend Barbara Corcoran and Grace and Lace we knew how we could help." -Nathan Clark
